HTML Components (HTC)

What are HTML Components? HTML Components, also referred to as "HTCs," are elemental components that function to enable web application modifications and/or editing options to a variety of page scripts.

Some forms of HTML components include: DynamicTable; EditField; EditSheet; ExpressionBuilder; ListBox; ListEditor; ListSheet; MenuControl; QueryBuilder; and TreeView.

Typically, HTML components enable tabular data editing; individual item data editing; bundling of HTCs; creation of name expressions that are used for targeting; control of context menus; construction of simple queries; and display of an expandable tree structure. [1]

Important to website designers, HTCs give an easy and smooth migration passage for existing HTML applications; therefore making site development much more user friendly.
