Site Theming
What is "site theming?" Site theming is when a website is comprised of associated webpage topics. For example, a travel agency website may have related web pages with onsite keyword links regarding "airline tickets," "hotel reservations," "car rentals," and a variety of other relevant keyword phrases.Site theming presents users and search engines with a keyword-focalized website pertaining to one specific topic or interrelated categories; which ultimately helps websites attain higher search engine rankings.
Basically, when you have formulated who your target audience is going to be, your follow-up questions would be what types of products and/or services will you offer that audience; and what related keyword phrases match those products and/or services? As in the example in the first paragraph, we can assume that the target audience is going to tourists. As a travel agency, types of services or products that we may offer tourists may include hotel rooms, car rentals, airline tickets, luggage, etc. In site theming, these are all interlinked keyword services that can be used productively and accordingly onsite.
Generally, site theming is a good beginning to a quality website, and to smart search engine optimization. Using this as well as rich content, a powerful link building campaign and keyword relevant material and links; will inevitably help websites to gain in link popularity and overall page rankings as well. Thus, site theming may generate more traffic and possibly higher sales revenue.
