Spider Trap
A spider trap happens when a search engine's web crawler becomes snared in an infinite circle of a website's coding. Usually, a spider trap occurs due to dynamic web pages, which produce endless numbers of documents; web pages that are heavily flooded with characters, (which may crash spiders programs); and deep directory structures (unlike flat directory structures). To avoid spider traps, it is important that your site is search engine friendly; enabling web crawlers to properly index webpages.
